UK to get hands-on with the PS3
Posted by John on October 9, 2006
The Playstation 3 will be arriving in Europe on November 3rd. Unfortunately this isn’t some major reversal in decisions by Sony but a display at the What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision show at Novotel London West Hotel and Convention Centre in Hammersmith, London.
The event runs from the 3rd to the 5th of November but some of you lucky souls who make the trip will get to see and play the PlayStation 3 at first hand.
Tickets are £13 and you can get hold of one from the What Hi-fi? website.
We expect pictures galore of your smiling mugs at the PlayStation 3 stand.

Damn, Sony still hasn’t moved the launch up?
I suppose since there is a shortage, moving up the European launch date would only cause the shortage to worse. Thems the breaks.
If it makes you feel better, I don’t even have a PS2, Gamecube, X-Box, or a 360. The newest console I have is a Dreamcast.
But anyway, if it makes you feel (even) better, then Ridge Racers 7 sold really well in Japan. I think it was part of the top two launch games.

Whoops. I thought that (the blog) had been updated more recently than October. If you’re still around, don’t give up.
